Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how QUIPUSOL handles information when an authorized user connects to and operates the bookkeeping workspace. QUIPUSOL is designed for controlled business financial operations and is not a public financial-data service.

Information processed

The service processes account identity information needed to control access, QuickBooks Online authorization tokens, company and accounting records requested through the QuickBooks API, report and export requests, and records of proposed bookkeeping changes and supervisor decisions.

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate authorized users, display QuickBooks records and KPIs, create requested reports and exports, prepare bookkeeping operations, enforce supervisor approval, troubleshoot the service, and meet security or legal obligations.

QuickBooks connection

QuickBooks access is provided through Intuit OAuth. QUIPUSOL does not request or store a user's QuickBooks password. Authorized users can disconnect QuickBooks from the workspace, which removes the active connection tokens held by QUIPUSOL.

Sharing

QUIPUSOL does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by hosting and infrastructure providers only as needed to operate and secure the service, or disclosed when required by law. Intuit processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and security

Connection and operational records are retained only while needed to provide the service, preserve required approval and audit records, or satisfy legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Choices and requests

An authorized user may disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the workspace. Questions or requests about access, correction, or deletion should be directed through the QUIPUSOL account administrator or the contact channel published at quipusol.com.
